St. Mary’s Priory

St Mary’s Priory is one of the largest Parish Churches in Wales. The Church, known as ‘the Westminster Abbey of Wales’ contains the world famous wooden Jesse effigy and other medieval monuments. The adjacent Tithe Barn houses the Abergavenny Millennium Tapestry. Guided tours of the Church and tapestry are also available.
